Our Mission  & Vision

Our Mission is to revive Humoral Medicine, whose foundations were revealed to some of the Prophets — peace be upon them — and later enriched by people’s experiences and expertise throughout the ages. This medicine has been neglected and clouded by misconceptions and quackery. We strive to restore it to its rightful place as an authentic, beneficial body of knowledge for all times and places, grounded in experience and sound understanding.

Our Vision is for this medicine to remain a trusted and enduring reference for future generations.

Diseases & Treatments

Diseases are numerous and varied, and their natures differ according to their causes. A single illness may be hot, cold, wet, or dry, and each condition has signs that indicate its nature. Therefore, diagnosis requires precision and detail to identify the correct cause before prescribing any appropriate treatment

Nutrition and Food

Nutrition plays a major role in achieving balance and health. Choosing the right food helps in moderating temperament, strengthening the body, and preventing diseases.

Maintaining good health applies to those whose temperament is moderate between hotness, coldness, wetness, and dryness, through managing various factors—particularly what one eats and drinks. Such a person should eat and drink foods in moderate amounts from the hot, cold, wet, and dry categories.

As for someone whose temperament is not moderate, they should eat foods of the opposite quality. If the imbalance is harmful, it can be cured by eating appropriate foods. Physicians have said: “Many diseases are repelled by food alone and are not repelled by medicine alone.” In other words, if a person knows how to eat properly, the illness may go away without needing medication. This is because most foods are medicinal—they nourish the body and serve as remedies at the same time.

However, if a person takes medicine without paying attention to their diet, the root cause of the illness will not be removed, and the disease will keep returning. For example, if the illness is caused by heat and the person continues to consume hot foods, or if it is caused by coldness and they consume more cold foods, the problem will persist.
